This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Studies have shown that using fidgets and stress balls can increase focus and attention and also work as a stress management tool. Wearable oral motor fidgets help students with special needs to self-regulate and maintain focus. They also help us reduce behaviors like putting inedible objects in their mouths, as well as self-harming behaviors like chewing on their hands or fingers.

Sensory input is important for students who need to meet self-regulation needs in an Autism specific classroom.

Your donation will help us have the variety that our students need to make gains in regards to their sensory needs.
