This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Early childhood students need fine motor activities to build hand-eye coordination, finger muscle strength and dexterity, along with hand and wrist control. A great way to do this is with sensory dough!
Our sensory center is one my students’ favorite and so rich in learning opportunities!
I love how it grows their creativity as well as their fine motor abilities. There are so many opportunities for the children to learn and explore! My students love the variety of colors and getting to use tools as they create their masterpieces. With these sensory tools my children will be able to learn and explore throughout literacy, math and all academic areas! The 3 shelf storage unit will help me to organize the materials in the center so the children can utilize everything in a clear and organized fashion.
Thank you for helping me stock and enhance my sensory center for the 2022-2023 school year.
