My Project

Our teachers desperately need more sensory items at their fingertips for their students! When students with disabilities do not have their sensory needs met, this can cause disreguatlion and major behaviors. These sensory tables will ensure teachers are not having to use their own money to meet the sensory needs of their students in an easily manageable way.

Sensory tables also promote creativity and exploration.

Children require a space to explore the items around them to help them practice using their curiosity and creativity to create and build something new. These sensory tables will provide this space within the classroom.
