Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the past three years, I have worked to create a space that accommodates the diverse sensory needs of my students. Students should have a space that allows them to collaborate with others or to step away and concentrate on independent tasks when needed.

Minimizing distractions in a classroom can be a challenge, and one that I hope this project will help me address.

This project would fund sound-absorbing privacy shield panels that can be attached to two work tables. These panels would create two individual workstations for students who need to find a quiet place to concentrate during the day. Every learner is unique, and this requires having a classroom that can adapt to their diverse needs.
