My Project

Hello! I'm a school-based speech-language pathologist. This year, my school opened a new instructional preschool program for 20 students. The majority of our students are autistic or have significant developmental delays. Many of them also struggle with processing all of the sensory information around them.

Therefore, I would like to create a sensory friendly corner in their classroom with various toys/tools that can help fulfill the individual and unique sensory needs of each student.

This will help them to learn how to self-regulate, reduce stress levels, and help them get ready to learn!
