My Project
This project will help us create a sensory friendly classroom environment tailored to the diverse needs of students with autism. I am requesting a variety of sensory tools and materials to support their learning and emotional regulation. These comfy floor seats, bean bags, liquid floor tiles, books and other items will help students feel more comfortable, reduce sensory overload, and increase engagement with learning activities.
With your support our classroom can be a place where students with autism feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Sensory tools such as a weighted blanket, a sensory sack, sequin wall, and chew necklaces can help prevent meltdowns, improve focus, and promote independence.
