My Project

Hello! My name is Mrs. Stoerger and I teach a 12:1:3 social communication classroom in Rochester City. In my classroom, we teach the general education curriculum with an emphasis on social skills, as well as self-regulation strategies. These self-regulation strategies help keep students focused and safe throughout the school day.

We are asking for fidgets to help students regulate and remain focused during instruction.

Many of our students have autism and require these tools to help them remain calm and attentive. By providing our students with fidgets we are helping them self-regulate and in return, they will be able to focus and be more engaged in the lessons.
