My Project
A sensory table is a must have in just about any kindergarten or early childhood classroom. Ours has been such an important part of daily instruction, which supports a wide variety of needs in my classroom. From fine motor development, to helping support communication needs to even supporting emotional regulation needs of some neurodivergent students, it has helped support just about every single student that has stepped foot into my kindergarten space.
I want to create intentional learning opportunities with my sensory table that are meaningful and impactful.
From setting up themed tables like one for a whole unit around Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to dinosaur exploration to color sorting and beyond, this will be something that will reach my students from the first day of school, to the very last.
