Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will help with their sensory processing skills and social and emotional learning. The lamps and floor tiles will be a great accent to help students feel they are in a warm and welcoming space. The magnatiles, peanut ball, and sensory tubes will help students learn about their sensory processing while also learning social and emotional skills needed for learning.

Students will use these materials to be mindful through sensory exploration for emotional regulation and have positive relationships with peers and adults.

Students are more likely to achieve higher social, emotional, and academic skills later in life when they learn these skills in early childhood.
