My Project
My students learn so much through hands-on activities. This project provides them with materials to explore their senses in a variety of ways.
Students will be engaged by learning about the senses through activities that test their own.
Students will learn more about the anatomy and physiology of their senses of taste, touch, hearing, smell, and sight through stations that require experimentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The puzzle board will be used during one of the station activities to categorize items. Hands-on activities like these help students to learn the concepts more effectively and cultivate their curiosity and critical thinking. Students will be fascinated with optical illusions and other activities that highlight inaccuracies in sensory perception and experiment with their own senses.
