My Project
We are requesting small sensory tables for my students to explore resources. The students love sensory projects, but have limited space to explore these materials. The trays that we have been using only allow us to explore small amounts of sand or soap at any given time. A nice large bin will allow us to get (literally) deeper into the materials, keep them out longer, and ensure the students have ample exploratory time.
My goal is to have the bins available for the students to use when they choose (at free choice time), utilize it at math time with shape searches, and use it for our literacy block with a letter search.
My students are some of the most wonderful kids you will ever meet. They show kindness every day and have built beautiful meaningful friendships over the last few months. They are quick to help one another, love to offer their suggestions, and show amazing curiosity every day. I couldn't be more grateful for the group of students I have this year.
