My Project
My special needs preschool students would greatly from additional sensory equipment. Having these items in my class would assist students in regulating themselves during and between instruction.
Several students in my class would benefit from having a trampoline to jump on when they become dysregulated.
It will help to calm their bodies down so they are able to access instruction.
The sand and water table will allow me to provide various different types of sensory materials for my students to have access to. It could be used to hold water, sand, rice, water beads or slime. While meeting their sensory needs they would also be working on their scooping and pouring skills as well.
Headphones will help students cancel out sounds that might be overwhelming and cause them to become overstimulated.
Please consider assisting my classroom obtain materials that would assist students in accessing their educational environment to their fullest potential.
