My Project
Despite a pandemic that turned our lives upside down, we made it this far together and are ready to rock in the New Year! We are the superfamily of all shapes, colors, sizes, and abilities! Many of our students are making great strides and persevering despite the anxiety and emotional roller coaster of the past few years. The COVID-19 pandemic led to significant delays In the social-emotional development and play skills of my children. Using the sensory dough and counting cars and cones, my students need to learn how to socialize, regulate their emotions, and play together. We see a lot of behavior issues, extreme shyness, lack of confidence, and difficulty communicating with others. They will use the counting cars and counting cones to practice counting skills. The sensory dough will enable them to touch and manipulate the dough as they practice learning more about numbers.
