My Project

With this being my first year in a self-contained classroom, I want to allow everyone of all learning styles to feel welcome and have the tools that they need to access learning.

This project will give my classroom some tools to help students with autism and other learning styles to be successful in our classroom.

This project has several sensory tools, such as sensory mats, fidget toys, and chew toys to help students with different levels of autism to adjust to our classroom and help to push them towards their personal developmental or cognitive goals. The interactive wall panels will allow the students to explore and calm themselves when overstimulated or agitated. We appreciate you considering joining with us to make our classroom a place where all students can access learning.
