This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a group of amazing kindergarteners who are eager to learn and grow. They all learn differently and it is essential for me to differentiate for them to meet all of their needs. COVID has impacted my students' development as they are coming into kindergarten with more substantial needs for sensory learning.

I would love to provide my students with sensory centers to help reinforce their learning in reading and math.

The sensory table will help me have an area that can fit 4 kids at a time as they find letters in different sensory materials such as rice. The magnetic letters and the matching center will give them a hands-on way to practice their word building and letter sounds.
