Sensory Calm Corner Makeover

Help me give my students a peaceful and calm sensory break area. It will allow the students to take breaks as needed on the soft carpet and beanbag chair.

My Project

This corner will contain items to use during their break as well as a cart to keep everything organized and accessible. Some teachers call this area the calm down corner, break area, or zen zone.

Soft lighting, carpet, and beanbag chair will allow students to relax and then return to their learning.

Students can use the area independently or with teacher support.

The goal of this project is to update our calming space with engaging sensory items as well as provide the students with a safe, quiet area to relax!

Students will have the opportunity to take a break in this peaceful area of the room as needed throughout their school day.

My students are unique and deserve a special space to take a break!
