This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every morning we start off the day with greeting each child individually as they arrive. We want children to believe in themselves and know that they are all very important in our hearts.
Our classroom is a Preschool Special Day Class serving children 3-5 years old with special needs.
We are determined to provide an enriching environment for children to learn in fun and loving ways. We believe all children are precious, and it is our goal to help them develop to their full potentials.
My Project
Children have different sensory needs. It is always fun to explore through our senses. Music, light, vibrating and sound fulfill different sensory needs our children have. for children who have a hard time activating toys with their hands/fingers, the adapted switch will enable them to access the toys. It is our goal to provide different sensory toys to meet the unique needs of all our children.
Donation to this project will help our classroom by providing more sensory items for the children to use.
