This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being that my class is an extensive needs self contained classroom, many of my students have high sensory needs. Being able to meet their sensory needs with of activities that will help regulate their systems so they can access their academic and functional activities and lessons.

Being able to create bins that are sensory friendly, themed and correlate with our academic lessons would benefit my students significantly.

These sensory bins would allow me and my classroom staff to support our students in being awesome lifelong learners that love coming to school to learn.
