My Project

Special education students have various sensory needs that can be met in a variety of ways. One of these ways is through thematic sensory bins. Throughout our school day, we have sensory breaks that allow for my students to get the sensory input that they need.

I would like to create a sensory station that has bins with various themes so that during sensory breaks, students are engaged and having fun!

We often find that keeping their hands and minds busy at the same time, lessens negative and aggressive behavior.
