This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is a family of learners! I teach autistic and life skills support students who have varying abilities, challenges and home environments. Our family loves to move, create and learn through multimodal sensory play. With your help, I hope to provide my students with unique sensory bins!

"All our knowledge begins with the senses!"

These sensory bins will unlock amazing growth, creativity and communication in my classroom. Mermaids, dinosaurs, baking tools, garden accessories, construction vehicles and kinetic fun are just some of the themes! As their teacher, it is my job to help my kids meet their unique sensory needs. Thank you for helping, inspiring and supporting all of us! Your kindness is truly appreciated!
