Sensory Bins for 2nd Grade

My Project

My students are in a special education second grade classroom. We are a small, close-knit group of five students and one teacher. My students bring light, laughter, and pop-culture references with them to school every day. I encourage my students to play, learn through mistakes, and practice working as a team towards a goal!

My students are very hands-on and love using multi-sensory materials such as sand and rice.

I see how engaged and interested they are when they engage multiple senses in their learning. I want to play to their strengths and engage them through multi-sensory learning bins.
