Sensory Art

Help me give my students an opportunity to create sensory art projects. This way they can work on PT, OT, and SLP goals in our classroom, thank you.

My Project

My students are learning to take lids on and off, hold paint brushes, cut paper, and work on my other skills. Their projects will look different from each other because of their skill levels.

Students will follow me and two step directions using their AAC devices or a picture exchange system to complete their projects.

My class works on meeting sensory needs all day so that then we can work on academic and social skills during the day. We have noticed that providing art projects helps with sensory needs. This way our class is calmer.
