My Project

Sensory supports are key for students with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In my classroom, many of my students are on the autism spectrum and have diverse needs. One need that they all share is the need for sensory materials and technology that is easy for them to use.

These technology items and sensory tools will help regulate my students and aid in their learning in an increasingly technologically advanced world.

My students work on various life skills, including how to use technology such as their school-provided iPads and/or laptops. In order for my students to succeed, they need a variety of sensory supports, such as the light covers and fidget tools in this list, as well as things that make their learning easier, like the technology charging station and comfortable headphones.

All of my students will love to use these tools and it will greatly improve their focus and increase their independence in the classroom, as they will have an easier time maneuvering the room for various activities. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
