My Project
Help us set up our social emotional special education program to best support our students individualized needs and accommodations. Our school is currently going through construction and we be moving room with little storage and are in need of organization and storage solutions, to create an organized and easily accessible classroom. These items will help us create a welcoming and calming environment for our neurodiverse learners.
Sensory supports, such as fidgets, weighted blankets, tactile items and more will help students to regulate and focus to their greatest ability.
These supports will be used both in our resource rooms and to help students integrate into the general education setting in order to provide access to the least restrictive learning environment for our students. By supporting our project you will be helping provide learning materials, sensory supports, organizational items and social emotional supports for our entire program, that currently supports 30-40 students in the elementary program.
