This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently teach in an inclusive (blended) preschool classroom where some students have disabilities and some don't. I love teaching in this kind of setting because it promotes inclusivity and understanding among all students.
To reach all students in our inclusive preschool setting, it is necessary to not only modify the curriculum and provide accommodations, but to also provide learning tools and sensory support that engage all of our learners!
I'm asking for fidget tools that will help regulate my students' sensory needs, learning resources that incorporate their interests, and social-emotional tools for problem solving and managing emotions.
