My students need a balance beam, scarves, wands, an exercise ball, and a trampoline to improve gross motor skills.

My Students

Sitting still for my students is very difficult, some of them need to have the ability to move a bit after getting off the bus and before we start our daily work.

The students in the class are all students with special needs.

They range in age from 3-5 years of age and are very wiggly. The students are very sweet and are eager to learn everyday, but some have difficulty focusing and can benefit from doing some activities to get their wiggles out. We are a priority school that has grades pre-k through 3rd grade.

My Project

The children will have the opportunity to have a fun obstacle course set up during the cold snowy winter days where going outside is impossible. Since the student all have special needs this will help with development of their hand/eye coordination and core strengthening.

My students need scarves, balance beams and other gross motor items to help with their motor planning.

It will help with the students who have difficulty sitting still, to become more focused and attentive during work time, instead of being on the go all the time.
