This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing learners however they need more time to regulate themselves when overstimulated. These materials will help give them a space to decompress and regulate themselves when their emotions are too high or when they are frustrated and overstimulated.

This space will help my students learn how to manage their emotions and and regain their composure so they can get back to work.

This will be a great teaching tool for me when it comes to helping them manage their bodies and their emotions. I will be continuing to teach how to express their emotions so they can stay calm and be a part of the classroom.
