Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The sensory table and tools in this project will give my students a safe and engaging space to scoop, pour, sort, and explore textures — all while developing fine motor strength, language, and early math skills.
For students who need sensory input to stay calm and focused, this table will be a daily tool to support regulation and readiness to learn.
With themed fillers and hands-on materials, we’ll be able to tie sensory play into seasonal learning, letter and number recognition, and so much more.
These resources will help me create a classroom where every child feels empowered to learn in their own way — through movement, exploration, and play.
