My Project

Our students receive occupational therapy services within the school setting for a multitude of reasons. In our school system, we are heavily focused on their fine motor and sensory processing skills. To meet our students' sensory and fine motor needs we don't always have the necessary tools and equipment. By generously donating to cover the items on this list, you will provide our students with the resources that can help meet their sensory and fine motor needs, and keep our room safe from randomly rolling balls! To give you a more clear idea of why we are asking for these: Use of the short pencils facilitates a mature and functional grasp. Laminating sheets help us keep our worksheets clean and erasable so that we can use them over and over. The weighted balls will enhance our strength and provide sensory input. The the ball rack will keep balls from rolling around as trip hazards.
