My Project

This project will help to expand our sensory area by creating a sensory wall. The activities on this new sensory wall will include everyday items such as locks, bolts, zippers, and buckles to encourage my autistic preschoolers to discover and interact with their environment.

Once the materials are installed on the walls of our sensory area, they will help develop fine motor skills, encourage problem solving, and reinforce practical life skills.

My preschoolers love to go to the sensory space we have now, but these new activities are going to bring it to a whole new level! I can't wait to see their excitement!
