They use the laminated signs that are there as reminders of steps they can take to help themselves feel calm again. We have the ABC's of motivating words hung around the room as reminders of what makes us feel good inside and the kids LOVE the rainbows all over the room. By laminating these inspirational words and signs, my students have reminders that cannot be torn down or destroyed. \r\nI love the way my room welcomes each and every student and adult who walks inside our doorway. Everyone who enters our space comments on how the calming colors make them feel so happy and relaxed. Students flock to the memory foam bean bag chairs to take time to do their deep breathing techniques and access another calming strategy.
