My Project

I am currently handling kindergarten to grade 2 students with special needs in a Least Restrictive Environment. While each day brings its own challenges, it also brings countless moments of joy, laughter, and connection.

Many of my students face sensory challenges.

That's why I’m working to create a sensory corner in our classroom—a calm, welcoming space where students can reset, self-regulate, and breathe.

Each item, like the sensory cushion and magnetic tiles, will serve a purpose: to help students understand and manage their emotions, to ground themselves when everything feels overwhelming, and to learn in an environment that honors their unique needs.
