My Students

My students LOVE to perform on stage. And we perform all the time! From the community Veterans Day tribute to the Holiday tree lighting and the Spring Revue to Graduation Day, my classroom is full of singing and dancing all the time. But with a very limited school budget, their love of singing is not enough to put on a successful musical performance. They need a little support!

My students are the most creative, energetic little musicians.

I have the pleasure of introducing and developing musical performance to each of these students every week. It is commonly known that performance can improve learning abilities, and I witness meaningful benefits and individual growth each day.

I get to teach musical performance from Junior Kindergarten to Fifth grade students who are happy and appreciative of each new experience. They quickly become comfortable in expressing their individuality through performance, finding their own musical voice whether it be singing, dancing, or acting (or all of the above) while learning and discovering new ways to excel.

The thirst for knowledge, fascination, and longing to perform music I see in my students is a desire I celebrate and am thrilled to help make a reality!

My Project

The resources from this project will add musical magic to our performances! To create an active, musical performance experience, my students need the Veterans Day, Holiday, Graduation, and Musical performance kits/audio to truly motivate their talents to reach their music learning goals, and the student kits will inspire students to individualize the sketches.

My students will ‘spring’ into perfectly pitched performances by being inspired by these performance materials.

My students love to perform with each other, and they reach music learning goals when they apply what they know to new songs. And these supplies will allow my students to do just that! It will not only teach my students to be better performers, but the practice strategies they learn through these activities will flow into other parts of life. I cannot wait to see how my students will grow into fabulous little musicians because of this project.
