My Students

Have you ever dreamed about what our world or our country is like? The curiosity of a young mind is full of questions and eager to learn as much as possible. The materials in this project will allow my students to answer these questions in a fun and engaging way.

I teach a wonderful third grade class in Florida.

My students range from 8 to 10 years old, and they always need to be active. A large portion of my class includes students that need additional academic support and materials. As a public school, we face series of budget crunches (like many schools) and depend on supporters to help our children. Our school and our students are wonderful, and I would like to ensure that my class has access to wonderful classroom activities.

My Project

This project is designed to get my students to become engaged in social studies through the use of hands-on and active projects. The project materials include molds to make models of the United States, the world, and numerous landforms; a book of reader's theater scripts; and materials to create state projects. By receiving these materials, you are helping to promote fun and create social studies activities in my third grade class.

By choosing to support this project, your will be supporting the excitement and imagination of my students as they work hands-on with a variety of social studies projects.

This project is important to me as it helps to ensure that every student in my class stays active as they learn.
