My Project

Our school is unique because of our diverse staff and student body. Our school district can best be described as one happy family. Thirty-three languages are spoken throughout the district. My students are special because they are immersed in an environment where we teach them academics and how to embrace the diverse student body. Learning is happening all over our school. In the classroom students are learning required content, however, outside the classroom, our students enjoy art, music, PE, and now, STEM classes. Our students have opportunities to visit the local zoo and other places in our community, which will inspire them to learn more about the world they live in.

I am excited to take on a new role at my school serving as STEM teacher for all students on my campus.

I am taking on a bigger role at my school, with more students, therefore I would love to be able to address the needs of all students when they enter my new classroom.

For this project I am requesting a variety of snacks and water to have for my students to have if and when they are in need. Snacks include cheese crackers, chips, dumdum lollipops and other snacks that students can have if they are hungry or did not have a snack from home.

Additionally, I am requesting Lysol and Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, White Cardstock, STEM themed border for bulletin boards. These items will be used to keep my classroom clean and welcoming for my students.

Finally, I would like to have a Gumball Machine and Gumballs to use a fun incentive to reward students during their time in my classroom.
