My Project

I am writing to request these items to utilize in the classroom and to engage with my students. These items will provide opportunities for the students to explore new textures and will also serve as calming tools for those who may become over-stimulated during the day.

My students love doing hands-on activities and these would be great for them.

A lot of the students are in wheelchairs and also need adaptive seating, where the weighted lap pad will really help bring them back down to a calming place when in not so familiar alternative seating.

Your consideration of this request is greatly appreciated. I believe these sensory items would be beneficial for creating a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for all our students.
