My Project

This project was created with the help of my students. Many of my students have anxiety especially when things get tough. Since mathematics is best learned through problem-solving and the most growth is made when mistakes happen, this creates challenges for my students.

Having sensory tools to reduce stress and anxiety helps students persevere in problem-solving.

The fidgets, rubber bracelets, pop-its, and stress balls will provide the relief that the students need when learning tough mathematical concepts.

Using the water beads and balloons, the students will each create their own stress ball to bring home to use. They would then use the stress balls when completing their school work or any time they feel anxious.
