My students have intense sensory needs which often leads to disregulation. With these materials, we can help our students by creating a diverse sensory diet - this means that the students will have sensory experiences throughout the day that helps them calm their bodies and increase focus. These amazing materials include every kind of sensory input - proprioceptive, vestibular, visual, tactile solutions, auditory solutions, and oral. This diverse sensory input is vital to the learning process for my students. Without individualized sensory input, my students cannot have the calm bodies and listening ears they need to succeed! And creating a safe, calm environment in the classroom is necessary for the mental health of both us teachers and our students. Please help me give my students the sensory input (and fun!) that will help them succeed.
