This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten students on our campus sit at tables in groups of four. There is not enough room at the tables for all of the materials that the students need to use every day since they have to share the space. There is no compartment for materials like in a traditional desk.

Seat sacks would enable students to have storage for their materials and help keep the students organized.

This will lead to less disruption of learning time and lower the chances of items going missing. The seat sacks would promote students being responsible for their own items.
