This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
An area of high need on my campus and in my grade level is science. So much of the school day is focused on reading and math that other subjects often don't get the attention they need. These science stations will bring the content off the paper and into life for my students and the students in 4th and 5th grades at my campus helping to deepen their understanding of how the world around us works.
Students learn so much better when they can have hand on learning experiences and the science sets selected will give them those opportunities to learn.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
