My Project

Please consider contributing to my K-2 Self Contained Classroom. We are looking for sensory tools in order to work on phonemic awareness.

Students will use magnetic letters, books, and other sensory tools during strategic reading periods.

Strategic reading is a period in which I pull small groups and work with them individually to meet their needs.

Sensory tools enhance student learning by engaging multiple senses, making lessons interactive and enjoyable. They promote fine motor skills, support language development, and provide calming effects that help reduce anxiety. By encouraging creativity and individualized exploration, these tools cater to diverse learning needs and foster social interaction among students. Overall, incorporating sensory materials creates a richer, more inclusive environment that supports cognitive development and academic success.
