Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I've had the same advisory students for four years. To celebrate their submission of college apps and financial aid the class created a wishlist of snacks, fidget and school supplies they need to help overcome senioritis to finish the school year. If you aren't familiar with senioritis, students often loose steam close to graduation because they know the end is near and they feel false confidence after getting notifications of college acceptance. I've seen seniors lose college acceptances because their grades slip after working hard 4 years in high school.

Help me beat senioritis wtih my class of first generation college students by fulfilling their class wishlist.

Everything on the list was requested by students in my class to help them get to the finish line. The student hand picked the snacks they like, the fidgets that they think will help them focus and the school supplies that will get them ready for college.
