My Project

Students are currently in the cosmetology club hosted at their home school, BCS. They are learning about proper hair care and maintenance. Also, they are learning about makeup, cleanliness, and professionalism. We have decided to give back to our community in such a way that what students learn they will embrace and use the skills learned to make wigs for seniors. Students will need various items like combs, wig stands, clips, brushes, and mannequins to help make our mission a success. The wig stand is needed to create the wigs on the canvas molds. The canvas molds have been provided for students. These products help the creation of the wigs to be given to our seniors in senior citizen homes.

Students are dedicated and will work very hard to make wigs for seniors and distribute during Women's History Month.

The mannequin is for students to practice the style of the wigs before using the real item. The other accessories are for styling the wigs that will be made by students. We are showing off what we learn while also enhancing the beauty of others women.
