Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for some coloring books, crayons, teddy bears, and small fidgets for students. I want to send them with some things to do and fun gifts for their 2.5 week winter break that is coming at the end of December. This will make them so happy and ensure they have access to some comforting gifts from their teacher! Since fidgets and sensory toys are used in our classroom as a strategy to help them self regulate, it will help them to have these items at home over break.

I also have asked for crayons and coloring books.

Students are working hard to build fine motor skills while at school. Sending these items home to color and create with over winter break will help them continue to build these skills over the 2.5 week break. I also have some books to send home with these items and I will include a handwritten note to each child. Thank you for helping to provide the love and care every child deserves! I appreciate you so much!
