Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Ninety percent of our amazing students live below or near the poverty line. About 60% of our students are learning English in school. Sometimes our school struggles to get the resources we need to teach and care for our incredible students. This makes the job of a school even more important.

Many students we teach experience poverty, but that's just where they are starting.

Our students love to create art and read. They write computer code and even perform Shakespeare. They have big dreams, let's help them reach for those dreams!

My Project

Students need fun and challenging books to get them excited about reading every day! Your generosity will put these books into the hands of our students.

Our students love to read, but some don't have books to help them explore their interests; let's fix that!

These books are filled with characters just like my students, kids who are learning and discovering the world around them. The pages are filled with gorgeous, colorful illustration that capture students' imagination. Thanks to your generosity, kids will have amazing new books that they just can't put down!
