My Students

My students are academically-gifted and high-achieving sixth-grade public school students from Western North Carolina. Our program is a "school-within-a-school" program, specifically designed to serve the needs of this population of children.

My students are incredible.

They are kind to one another, supportive, patient, and understanding. We are truly like a big family, and we laugh every single day. My students make working a joy.

We are a diverse group, representing a broad spectrum of backgrounds, beliefs, and personal histories, yet we all manage to get along and support one another every day.

My Project

Our students are like a huge family! This trip will allow our students to see, hear, taste, and fully experience the exciting customs and traditions of medieval Europe, as part of our ancient civilizations social studies curriculum.

Our school is in a high-poverty region of Appalachia, and many of our students would not be able to have this experience without your help.

Our class is such a tight-knit group, and the memories that we make with one another will last a lifetime. This would be such an amazing experience for our Eggheads. Any and all donations are very appreciated!
