My students have worked diligently all year long during yet another year made for the history books; it is now time to relax and de-stress over the summer.
Taking a mental break is necessary for our mental well-being. My students have spent so many hours this school year working hard, putting in 110% effort, and thriving in what had to be their new normal for this year. I am just astounded at the resiliency of these young individuals. They need and greatly deserve a break and some time to relax. The items I am requesting in the project will help them to do just that. The inspirational bracelets and bookmarks will keep them motivated to continue being the awesome people they are and hopefully read all summer long! The cookies, Gatorade, and Jolly Ranchers will be a sweet treat for them to enjoy. The bubbles, jumpy smiley poppers, and stickers will bring them laughter and some silly fun. All of the treats are to say thank you for all of their efforts all year long!
