This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
During this ongoing Pandemic, it's been very challenging to teach from in a restricted environment and with little resources. Most of my students come from a low income families and diverse backgrounds with great parental support. I have a wide range of academic abilities ranging from very low to high. My students are happy 8 years olds who are eager and happy to be back in school. In these unprecedented times we need to keep them healthy and well.
My Project
Having a Selphy printer and a classroom printer will allow us to be able to create projects for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and other holidays! My 3rd grade students love arts and crafts! Having these items will ease the process of going into Walgreens, RIte Aid etc to print each of my students photos. Having a printer in the class will also facilitate being able to print worksheets and other assignments. We are very limited with copies at school, this would really benefit our class and save us a lot of time!
