My Students

Our students are 55 of the brightest and best boys and girls the world has to offer. Overcoming poverty-related obstacles and striving to find achievement in less than affluent neighborhoods, our students contain sparks that deserve to be fueled and ignited! The majority of our students seldom travel out of the city they live in and are oblivious to the wonders and sites that are just beyond our very own state line. These students long to know more about the world in which they live and the past from which they come.

My Project

The science of biology will come alive up close and personal as students explore prepared slides and created slides containing life inside droplets of different water as we examine tap, pond, and rain water. Students will also explore cellular make up of different living organisms as they study professionally prepared slide examples. Students will exhibit responsibility as they maintain materials in the provided protective cases. The blank slides will allow students the opportunity to feed their curiosities by acquiring their own samples for scientific study. From the way unicellular organisms perform all life functions within a cell to the way complex organisms have specialized cells for carrying out the life processes—students will have a hands-on experience like never before.
