This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a very active class this year. I am asking for a set of twelve noise-canceling headphones so that the children who want to use them during tests or during independent work time can. If this is successful, I plan to get another set through DonorsChoose.
My students need some tools to self-regulate their focus and emotions in order to successfully prepare for fourth grade.
I asked for several fidget items, chair bands, wobble cushions, sensory stickers, and even chew necklaces that a few students needed so they could put something safe in their mouths. Other than the chew toy, the items I chose will be available to all the students and rotate as needed so they can find what works for them.
